Arnold Classic Karate Championship 2018
This weekend past (18th to 20th May) KSA hosted a ranking league for selection into a KSA National Squad team to represent South Africa for up and coming internationals.
Fourways Martial Arts Academy entered 15 athletes and took 23 medals in total with 10 gold, 8 Silver and 5 Bronze medals.
The KSA Arnold’s Classic karate Championship, is one of the most popular sporting games in the world and the only one on the African Continent were all sporting code compete at the same time in South Africa hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre.
Sports Karate is one of these sporting code were KSA had a ranking tournament inviting only the top ten athletes in the country.
We are proud to mention that Fourways Martial Arts Academy has as many as 18 TOP TEN athletes in the country that was invited to compete at the above event.
The Arnold’s Classic Karate Championship also attracted international teams from African countries such as Congo and Mauritius that were present.

Lastly, 4Ways Dojo is indebted to our 4Ways coaches; Sensei Brett Ferreira, Sensei Danika Stevens and Sensei Silvio Biagioni for all their hard work coaching and preparing our students which is clearly paying off if we look at the results!!
The tournament was very tough and the level of competition was extremely high with just over 400 entries of the best of the top ten ranked in the country.
So well done to ALL my 4Ways students that got MEDALS and for getting this far !!! Good luck to the rest in your preparations ..
